Regulatory Approach

The Registrar General exercises regulatory and enforcement powers for the land titles concession and eConveyancing framework in accordance with clear and transparent principles and processes. This ensures fair and impartial regulatory oversight of NSW Land Registry Services, ELNOs and Subscribers and a secure and efficient land titles and eConveyancing system for customers and the public.

The below links outline the Registrar General’s approach to compliance, regulation and enforcement, and the Registrar General’s audit and review program for the land titles concession for the next 3 financial years. In addition, ORG works with the Australian Registrars’ National Electronic Conveyancing Council (ARNECC) in relation to audits and reviews relating to eConveyancing: more information is on ARNECC’s website.
